At La Petite Maison (LPM), we are known for our commitment to quality, consistency, and exceptional guest experience. Our Boston opening represents an exciting step forward, and we are looking for a Stores & Receiving Clerk to support the smooth running of our restaurant supply chain and back-of-house operations.

This is a key operational role, ensuring that all deliveries are received, checked, stored, and recorded accurately. We are looking for someone highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable, with a strong understanding of inventory control and the importance of maintaining quality standards.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Receive deliveries from suppliers and vendors, ensuring all items are handled efficiently and correctly.

  • Verify the quantity and quality of goods received against purchase orders and delivery notes.

  • Inspect items for damage, shortages, or discrepancies, and report any issues to management promptly.

  • Store food, beverage, and operational supplies in the correct areas, following proper rotation and storage procedures.

  • Maintain clean, safe, and well-organised storage areas in line with hygiene, health, and safety standards.

  • Update inventory records accurately and assist with regular stock counts and stock audits.

  • Support the kitchen, bar, and management teams by ensuring supplies are available when needed.

  • Communicate with suppliers and internal teams regarding deliveries, missing items, order changes, or stock-related issues.

  • Use inventory management systems and basic reporting tools to support accurate stock control.

  • Help minimise waste, loss, and overstocking through careful receiving, storage, and record keeping.

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in receiving, stores, inventory, stock control, or a similar restaurant/hospitality role.

  • Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.

  • Good understanding of food, beverage, and operational supplies within a restaurant environment.

  • Ability to check deliveries accurately and identify discrepancies or quality issues.

  • Basic math skills and confidence working with stock records, purchase orders, and inventory counts.

  • Comfortable using inventory management software or willing to learn new systems.

  • Good communication skills and ability to work closely with kitchen, bar, management, and suppliers.

  • Reliable, hands-on, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to lift and move stock items and stand for extended periods when required.

  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to maintaining high standards.
