Your Role:

As a Pastry Sous Chef, you will play a pivotal role in our kitchen team, working hand-in-hand with the Head Chef to maintain and elevate our culinary standards. If you have a strong foundation in pastry arts and a passion for thriving in a dynamic, high-energy environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you!🎂🍫

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Head Chef in developing signature pastry recipes and overseeing production.🍰
• Train and guide the pastry team, ensuring precision in techniques and adherence to quality standards.👩‍🍳👨‍🍳
• Manage inventory levels and assist with ingredient procurement and stock control.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pastry kitchen, complying with food safety protocols.. 🧼
• Bring creative ideas for seasonal pastry offerings, keeping the menu fresh and exciting.🌟
• Adapt to the fast-paced, dynamic nature of a high-performing kitchen.

What You’ll Need:

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef specializing in pastry, ideally in fine dining or upscale establishments.
• A culinary degree or relevant certification in pastry arts (preferred). 🎓
• Strong knowledge of Mediterranean pastry cuisine and techniques.
• A flair for creativity and an eye for detail in pastry presentation. 🎨
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and inspire a team.
• A team-player mentality with a commitment to fostering a positive kitchen culture.  💪
