Your Role:
As a Commis Chef, you will:
- Prepare mise-en-place with precision and efficiency before each service. πͺ
- Assist the Chef de Partie in cooking and plating dishes during service hours. π½οΈ
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene. β
- Uphold the LPM culinary philosophy by respecting and enhancing the quality of ingredients. πΏ
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless operations. π€
- Adapt to various tasks and challenges with flexibility and professionalism. β‘
What Youβll Need:
Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in the culinary field.
- Previous success in a similar position is preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Basic knife skills and a solid understanding of recipes and SOPs.
- Strong attention to detail, speed, and accuracy in food preparation.
- Knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards.
- Proficiency in English, both written and oral.
Personal/Interpersonal Skills:
- A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- The ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
